Jeremy Stepak

A passionate and energetic finance leader, Jeremy Stepak brings more than fifteen years of diverse capital markets, operations and transaction experience to Gibraltar, having joined the Company in 2013 as part of its founding team. Jeremy has held various leadership roles of increasing responsibility throughout his career spanning a range of projects and deal sizes from seed-stage financings to multi-million dollar developments.

Most recently, as the former CFO of Gibraltar Growth Corporation, a Special Purpose Acquisition Vehicle (and Gibraltar subsidiary) that brought one of Gibraltar’s portfolio companies (LXRandCo, Inc.) public in June 2017, Jeremy was asked to join that company in Montreal as Interim CFO.  In this current role, Jeremy leads the complete scope of the company's financial operations and resources, providing strategic decision support to management and board while being deeply involved in daily management of the company from financial reporting and FP&A, to legal and commercial matters as well as corporate finance and investor relations.

Prior to joining Gibraltar, Jeremy spent three years abroad working in Latin America as VP Finance & Development for US-based Global Hospitality Investments (GHI) – a subsidiary of the Goodman Real Estate Group. At GHI, Jeremy oversaw all financial functions at the site of a 500-acre master plan redevelopment project in Mexico including financial operations, financial planning and analysis, treasury, accounting, tax and corporate development.

Prior to GHI, Jeremy was a manager with Deloitte’s Corporate Finance team in Toronto where his transaction focus was on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital raises for private, mid-market companies across a broad range of industries. Jeremy began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he earned his CPA-CA designation.

Jeremy holds a Masters in Management and Professional Accounting from the Rotman School at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Information Studies from Western University.
